GALA DAY – Semester 2
Over the next 2 weeks, students in Year 5 & 6 will sign up for Semester 2 Gala Day Sports during HPE lessons. Trials will be held early next term. The sports on offer in Semester 2 are:
- Netball – Boys and Girls (mixed)
- Touch Football – Boys and Girls
- Cricket – Boys and Girls (mixed)
- Volleyball – Boys and Girls
If your child is planning to sign up for a sport, make sure they do so, before the holidays.
EASTERN TAIPANS DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVES
Some of our 10-12 years students have been busy trialling for various district teams. I would like to congratulate the following students for being selected in the Eastern Taipans District Team.

MET WEST REPRESENTATIVES – CROSS COUNTRY
We’re thrilled to announce that two of our dedicated athletes have qualified for the Met West Cross Country Team!
With a strong, confident performance at the Regional Trials, Tiara cruised into an impressive 3rd place finish, in the 10 year old girls’ race. Meanwhile, Marc thrilled the crowd with a determined sprint to the finish, overtaking three runners in the final stretch to claim 6th place!
Both Tiara and Marc have shown amazing dedication, perseverance, and passion in their training, and it’s paid off! They’ll be proudly representing Met West at the State Championships next month. Go get 'em Tiara and Marc!
Congratulations to Gregorius, who also competed at the regional Trials. He gave it his all and gained a lot of experience, just by competing. Well Done to all three Cross Country Runners!
