Gala Day permission forms will be sent to parents of successful students via QParents soon. Please keep an eye out for these emails. Please pay and return forms on time or your child will miss the opportunity to attend Gala Day 1. No late payments will be accepted.

EASTERN TAIPANS DISTRICT TRACK & FIELD TRIALS

Earlier this week, 35 of our top Track and Field athletes proudly represented Warrigal at the Eastern Taipans District Track and Field Trials. Over two action-packed days, our students gave it their all across a range of events, demonstrating outstanding effort, sportsmanship, and school spirit.

We are thrilled to announce that 13 Warrigal students have been selected to represent the Eastern Taipans District Track and Field Team. Congratulations to the following athletes on this fantastic achievement:

• Penny M – 100m (1^st), 200m (1^st), Discus (1^st), Long Jump (1^st), High Jump (1^st)
• Sofia C – Combined Event (1^st), Long Jump (2^nd), 200m (3^rd), 800m (2^nd)
• Tiara B – 1500m (1^st), 800m (1^st), 200m (2^nd)
• Ibrahim K - 200m (3^rd), 100m (4^th), Long Jump (5^th)
• Issac B – 200m (2^nd), 100m (2^nd)
• Marc L – 1500m (2^nd), 800m (2^nd)
• Nikola D – 1500m (3^rd), 800m (3^rd), Combined Event (1^st)
• Gregorius B – 1500m (1st), 800m
• Myla S – 800m (4^th)
• Ethan P. – Discus (5^th)
• Mikayla W – Discus (5^th)
• Gabriella T – Shot Put (2^nd)
• David C – High Jump (3^rd)

We wish all selected students the very best of luck as they prepare to compete at the Regional Trials in September.

A special mention also goes to Aishlinn O., who placed 3rd in Discus—a fantastic effort, even though it didn't lead to district selection this time.
